Types of misfueling
You would find that is a harder thing to do is put a diesel nozzle into a petrol vehicle, this is because the diesel nozzle has a different size diameter (it is larger). This is why it is more common to put petrol into a diesel vehicle, as the nozzle has a smaller diameter than a diesel nozzle so will easily fit in . Although we do get called to a fair number of petrol vehicles that have been filled up but the customer normally says the nozzle was constantly clicking because it would not fit in properly. Usually the customer does not realise and put it down to being a faulty nozzle
